TEAM GALLOPING GHOST will be fighting MORTAL KOMBAT at Game Pazzo's Tournament!!  Hopefully there will be a stream we can watch at the arcade!  Good luck to Aaron, Phil, Tom, Pete, Jeremiah, Medina & Mo!

November 19 - Tournaments - Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 & MORTAL KOMBAT (2011)
Join us for another night of ranked tournaments!  There will be 2 tournaments in each Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 & Mortal Kombat (2011)

- Tournament 1 - Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3!  For our first tournament, players will only be allowed to select from the 12 new characters added to the roster!
- Tournament 2 - Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3!  The second tournament will allow any character to be selected

- Tournament 3 - Mortal Kombat (2011) Standard rules
- Tournament 4 - Mortal Kombat (2011) Tag Team - Pick a partner for some 2 vs 2 action!  

No entry fee just the standard $15 at the door to get in.  Prizes to the winners of each tournaments.  Best 2 out of 3 matches.  

November 26 - Galloping Ghost Arcade 1st Pinball Tournament
Join us for our first pinball tournament!  Sign ups start at 6PM, and gaming starts at 7PM.  No entry fee other then the $15 door fee.  Two divisions Pro and Casual!  We will select 5 games to play on and high total high score wins!  Prizes in each division.  After the tournament we will have open pinball for the rest of the night until 2AM.

October 14th & 15th - RETROIDS
Gaming website, Retroids (www.retroids.com) has formed the Retroids Team to raise money for a charitable cause. Extra Life is one of the biggest charity gaming events of the year. People donate money to sponsor the players that are playing video games for a 24-hour straight session. More information can be found at www.extra-life.org. Retroids is doing their 24-hour session at Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield, IL! Please join them to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. The founders of Retroids.com (proper) are playing at the arcade for Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago and trying to raise $1,000.

The collective participants that are joining up with the Retroids Team are trying to beat last year's goal and raise over $15,000!

Will you join us for this awesome cause? There are two ways you can do this:

1) Join up with as a team member of the Retroids Team and ask people to sponsor you in the 24-hour gaming session. Any sponsors you get will help the cause!

2) If you can't participate yourself as a team member, no problem. But we'd still love if you could make a donation, even if it's just a few bucks, to any of the Retroids Team members. Go to: http://www.extra-life.org/team/retroids and donate to the team member of your choice.

Retroids is also renting out one of Galloping Ghost's console rooms. We will have it for the full 24 hours. It has 4 HDTVs, couches and counters with bar stools, plus four PS3s, four 360s and one Wii.. This will be a good replenishment room for anyone standing up in the arcade for a long period of time. The room is available to Retroids members ONLY.

We're also planning on LIVE streaming some or all of the event through our UStream or Justin.tv/Twitch.tv channel.

Details are as follows:

When: 24-hours straight! The evening of October 14th from (Fri.) until the evening of October 15th (Sat). (Start time: Approx 7:00pm CST)
Where: Galloping Ghost Arcade
Address: 9415 Ogden Avenue, Brookfield, IL 60513
Cost: $15*. That's for the full 24 hours -- FREE PLAY on all the games, and console room (for Retroids.com members) with couches and 4 HDTVs and all the latest systems.

Bring extra money for food throughout the 24-hour session. They offer food (pizza), snacks and beverages in-house.
In-house food - 12 inch pizza, personal size pizza, soda, energy drinks, candy, etc.

These guys have a huge arcade with tons of classics, just about all of the KOF games, Mortal Kombats, Street Fighters (multiple custom fighting game cabinets with arcade controls), driving, light gun games and more...over 280 games and counting!

We can't do this alone—Please come out and game with us for the charity. Plan on coming to play and raise money for Children's Memorial in Chicago.

We sponsored 6 fighters to go compete in MORTAL KOMBAT at the SEASONS BEATINGS tournament in Ohio! Come watch the stream all weekend long here at the GALLOPING GHOST ARCADE as our team of PETE HAHN, AARON DAVIS, MOHAMMAD MANSOUR, PHIL DIAZ, TOM NIETER & JEREMIAH SMITH go fight it out!

October 29th, 30th & 31st - HALLOWEEN

Join us all weekend for our 3 Day Halloween bash! 
- Come in any costume and get in for only $13*! ($2 off regular admission)
- Come in a video game themed costume and get in for $10*! ($5 off regular admission)
- Come in a video costume and you'll be entered in to our costume contest - Prizes for the best costume!
- Partake or our free candy bowl!
- Free Pizzas too!

SATURDAY EVENTS -
- See world record holder ANTHONY PAPARO do his 2nd annual SPLATTERHOUSE WORLD RECORD RUN! 
Will he be able to break 300,000 again?

- Come set some HIGH SCARES in:
CARNEVIL, SPLATTERHOUSE, GHOSTS N GOBLINS, GHOULS N GHOSTS, ZOMBIE RAID, & HAUNTED CASTLE!
All high scores will be entered into AURCADE.COM!  Play all 6 games and set a score in each!  Prizes for top scorer in each game and overall!

- Can't have a HALLOWEEN event with out some blood...and that means a ranked MORTAL KOMBAT (2011) tournament!  Special Halloween rules (posted soon)

SUNDAY EVENTS -
- Make Up Artist Parricia Cantu will be doing face painting!  Choose from on hand designs or make a request...we hope to see some great video game inspired painted faces!
